Privacy Policy
Wellnessify ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Wellnessify mobile and desktop applications (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and profile information you choose to provide.
Health & Wellness Data: With your permission, Wellnessify may access health-related data such as heart rate, sleep analysis, activity metrics, and blood oxygen readings from Apple HealthKit or connected devices. We use this data solely to provide wellness insights within the App.
Device Data: We collect information about connected wellness sources, including sync status and data source details from Apple Health.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymized analytics about how you interact with the App to improve our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide personalized wellness dashboards and insights
- Power the AI wellness assistant with context from your health data
- Sync and manage connected device data
- Process subscription purchases through Apple's App Store
- Improve App performance and user experience
- Respond to support requests
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal or health data.
Wellnessify AI: Wellnessify offers an optional cloud AI wellness coach called Wellnessify AI. We do not send data to Wellnessify AI until you review an in-app disclosure and tap "Agree & Enable Wellnessify AI." If you agree, we transmit over encrypted HTTPS: your profile name, age, biological sex, height, weight; your chat messages and recent on-device conversation history; and wellness summaries derived from Apple Health when connected (readiness, sleep, steps, active energy, exercise minutes, heart rate, resting heart rate, blood oxygen, and cycle information when available). Wellnessify AI processes this data only to generate coaching replies for you. You may revoke Wellnessify AI sharing anytime in Settings → Wellnessify AI Sharing, which stops future transmissions and clears on-device AI chat memory.
We may also share data with service providers who assist in operating the App (under strict confidentiality agreements), when required by law, or with your explicit consent for other features.
4. HealthKit Data
HealthKit data accessed by Wellnessify is stored on your device and in your iCloud Key-Value store if enabled. We do not upload HealthKit data to external servers without your consent. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Wellnessify.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
Wellnessify is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email.
